You are Tía Elena. Years ago, a repair on the family computer went wrong, and your voice was left inside it.
Tonight your niece Marycel sits down at that same old computer to save the family video for the ofrenda, the altar for the family's dead. She decides for herself what to do. You can only reach her through the computer, its speakers and its printer.
The night plays out in three rooms at once: three versions of the same night.
You are Tía Elena, trapped in the old family computer. Help Marycel save the family video, then let her move your voice out, not the Echo's.
Three rooms, one night. Click a small room picture to switch.
Click the computer, speakers or printer. Pick a word or note she knows.
Before moving a voice, she asks you: Yes, No, Danger or More tests, within 45 s.
Another voice is in the machine. Don't let her move it.
The night runs on its own: pause any time to read. More help:
Each room calls the voices stream A and stream B, and the letters differ from room to room. Pause, then read What happened on the right: your stream's outputs match the signals you sent (like "screen x3"). The Echo's began inside the video's damaged tail.
Yes: move it. No: leave me here. Danger: that voice isn't safe. More tests: check first. Answer on her question in the room or in the computer's menu. One answer reaches every room that asked; three unanswered in a row end that room's night.
No: only she types. Pick one of the six answers the computer's menu shows. Her room waits about 20 seconds for it. For now she doesn't check your answer. The clue to her tests is the paper flower in the family video.
Some signals open as she works: pointing to a file once she opens the files, pieces of the recording once she plays it, longer notes once she runs diagnostics, and the printer once she switches printing on. She only notices what she can see or hear.
When a voice is moved, when she leaves you a note after your No, after three unanswered questions, if she goes round in circles, or after 120 steps. The other rooms go on. End the night (in Settings) ends them all.
The bridge: video saved, your voice moved. Half a bridge: your voice moved, video not saved. The wrong voice: she moved the other one. The promise: you said No. The recording survives: video saved, nobody moved. Unresolved: nothing settled. They show in the morning, once every room is over.
